England, Aircraft Research Association Ltd, 1956. Soft Cover , Landscape. 20 page landscape booklet published to mark the opening of the Transonic Wind Tunnel in Bedford in the 1950's. The building of the tunnel was a joint co-operative effort of a very large number of firms, comprising the bulk o fthe British aircraft industry. Contains detail on the structural design of the tunnel including diagrams of the tunnel circuit, model bays and control room, model cart, flexible nozzle, a working section and a plan of the site. A very good clean copy. Very Good.
