Top edge dusty. Pages yellowing with age. Company stamp (Ray Smith Ltd, Farringdon Street, London) to top edge of Chapter 1 Page 7. and to last page. Occasional spotting and stain to text block but generally clean. Opening to guttering in places and hinges cracked. Two inch loss to top edge of half title and title page affecting the "same book by this author" & the word "spirit" on the title page. A reading copy only of this now hard-to-find title.
