New York: Definitions Press 1959. Broadside. 8-1/2 x 11 inches. Printed in black ink on white paper. Title in red ink. Displays a poem "Picketing God or Something to Be God" by Eli Siegel. Poet educator and philosopher of "Aesthetic Realism" Siegel was one of the Greenwich Village bohemians of the 1920s and '30s. Nominated for the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize his work was praised by William Carlos Williams and Kenneth Rexroth. Broadside shows some age toning and is slightly soiled at the bottom edge. There is a faint streak of color in the lower left perhaps from a crayon. Overall Very Good. .
