[Jackson, John; George Hunt (engrav.)] - Cribb [London: J. Moore, 1842.]. Hand colored engraving of the famous English bare knuckle boxer Tom Cribb, who became world champion in 1810 and retired with the title. Anonymous engraving with no place or date, but after 1811 (image is taken from a larger work, "The Second Contest between Cribb and Molineaux," which took place in September 1811). The engraving is mounted, and the mount is faded and tattered at the edges. There is a long stain on the front of the mount that continues about an inch into the image, but does not seriously deface it. Aside from this, the engraving itself is in Very Good condition. .
