Rotella, Domenico - 6 Prison Poems

New York: Letter Edged in Black Press, 1968. Domenico Rotella (Painter, assemblagist and poet, 1919-). Collection of five (not six) poems written clandestinely on cigarette packages and on a postcard while Rotella was incarcerated in a Roman prison in 1964 for possession of marijuana. Only five poems present, one being missing. Also missing is the sketch by Rotella of his prison cell. From SMS: A Collection of Multiples, No. 4, August 1968. .
