Portfolio is 10 x 12 ½ with bright gilt lettering and emblem. This reproduction of the Letter (Portfolio Edition) is by The US Historical Society and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The leather portfolio contains the photo of Lincoln and the reproduction of the letter, both under plastic. The COA indicates this is No. 488 of 5000 copies and is signed (stamped signature) Virginus Dabney / Chairman, Advisory Committee. The reverse side of the COA gives a few descriptive paragraphs of Colonel McCullough and how he lost his life together with short history of the relationship between Colonel McCullough and Abraham Lincoln. Except as noted, in excellent condition overall.. Near Fine with no dust jacket .
