Abbott, Brett [editor]. EDWARD WESTON'S Book of Nudes. 88 pp., 1 color and 6 b&w illustrations, 39 b&w plates and b&w illustrations of the original mock-ups. 4to, cloth-backed boards. Los Angeles, The J. Paul Getty Museum in association with Tucson, The Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona, 2007. In 1953, curator Nancy Newhall and Edward Weston put together a mock-up for a book of his nudes, but it was rejected by publishers at the time and was never realized. This new book has been created from that mock-up and includes a preface by Brett Abbott and small-scale reproductions of the original book. It's published to coincide with an exhibition of Weston's work at the J. Paul Getty Museum this fall.
