Illustrations by many of the prominent artists of the day. Arrangement is chronological begiining with several 19th-century examples as "forerunners" to the 20th-century expansion of interest and technology. Deep blue cloth backing with cream embossed boards; the front board with an embossed design after Etienne Hajdu. Edges of the boards are darkened, otherwise clean throughout, tight binding. Very Good/Very Good.
