The first hardcover was published in the UK by Faber & Faber in 1969 per L. W. Curry, Science Fiction and Fantasy Authors: A Bibliography of First Printings of Their Fiction, 1979.) Not a remainder or ex-library copy. Science Fiction Book Club first printing with printing code 20 K on page 187 and Code #1825 on rear jacket flap. Dark blue boards lettered in white. Small jacket tear out (0.5 cm x 1 cm square) at lower spine panel. Light jacket crinkling at head and heel of spine panel with slight chipping at upper tips. Closed tear (2 cm in length) at top right corner of rear jacket panel. Aside from these defects a clean, square copy without clipping or stains. Faint edgewear with jacket lightly age tanned at edges, else near fine copy in very good jacket. Jacket is non-glossy paper without illustrator credit. Due to paper jacket condition it's difficult to find copies of this title without jacket stains. First book in Anthony's Omnivore trilogy. Near Fine/Very Good.

Shipments to Japan, Australia and the European Union are $10.00 USD for Global Priority (4 to 7 business day delivery) per title; Priority Mail to Canada is $8.00 USD for 3 to 5 business day delivery per title. (Oversized titles too large to fit into the Priority envelopes or multiple title orders will be boxed and shipping fees will charged to the customer following notification.) All credit card sales are subject to Verification as required by our merchant processor. Although we’ve never had a lost shipment, we cannot guarantee Air Parcel nor International Surface shipments. A U.S. Postal Service Certificate of Mailing form is completed for all Air Parcel and International Surface shipments providing shipping date and a copy of the Certification is e-mailed to the customer. Air Parcel and International Surface can be insured at the Customer's expense.
