Published by The Sunshine Press. C1940. A book in almost very good condition with no wrapper. A collection of short stories for children. First story is 'The Butterfly Hunters' by Cicely M. Drury. Blue pictorial paper boards showing young boy in his sailor outfit carrying a toy boat with a young girl in yellow dress holding hook and terrier on leash. B/w illustrations, colour plates. Edges rubbed, corners worn. 0.25" loss to top of spine affecting title, base of spine split to either side. Large inscription in ink to front pastedown has imprinted on to half-title page. Contents clean.

Payment with order. All prices are in British Pounds. We accept cheques in British Pounds and most major credit and debit cards and Paypal.
If we receive credit card details with your order, our objective is to get the book in the post to you within one working day. Orders received after mid-day UK time on Fridays may not be processed until the following Monday. If you would like us to quote shipping costs before dispatch please let us know in the comments field of the order form.
Postage, packing and insurance are at cost. UK parcels under 2 kg will be sent via first-class post, over 4 kg via 48-hour Parcelforce. All overseas parcels will be sent airmail. For high value parcels we will insure where possible.
Books are returnable by airmail within 7 days of receipt if found to be not as described. Please phone or email before returning any item.
We are a family-run business consisting of two shops: Stella Books in Tintern and Rose's Books in Hay-On-Wye (email enquiry@rosesbooks.com; address: 14 Broad Street, Hay-On-Wye, Hereford, HR3 5DB, UK). Your orders will automatically be forwarded via our internal network to the correct location and you will be informed as to which shop your book is in. This procedure will not result in any delay in the processing of your order. Books ordered from both shops can be shipped together if required.
