Gilt crest of a parliamentary library at spine base. No other markings external or internal. A nice copy. Uncommon. ¶ From the papers bequeathed by his nephew to the Royal Society of Edinburgh. The eminent persons include Horace Walpole, Helvetius, Bishop Percy and (in French) Turgot, D'Alembert, Diderot and others. From single letters up to 15 or so, from 53 correspondents.
