Vol. I : Two steel engravings of the exhibition building, one as frontis., folding plan, approx. 600pp. numbered in sections, and approx. 120pp. of adverts. at end, many illustrated. Vol.II : 5 chromolitho plates, one as frontis., approx. 900pp.numbered in sections. Both volumes with some hundreds of wood-engraved illustrations of the exhibits, a.e.g., thick 4to., publisher's violet gilt and blind-stamped cloth, spines somewhat faded/browned, some minor wear to tips and edges, internally excellent. ¶ A very good complete set of the British section of the Exhibition. A further two volumes covering the Foreign and Colonial sections were published.
