A seldom-seen contribution to the study of mineralogy with fine illustrations. Written by the Czech mineralogist and professor at the university of Prague, Emanuel Borický (1840-1881). "In 1880, when he already belonged to the absolute world leader in the field of petrography, he became a full professor. Currently, in his honor, the best scientists in the field of petrology, mineralogy and geochemistry are awarded a medal bearing his name: the Emanuel Boricky Medal" (Czech Wikipedia).
