The magazine was a monthly magazine of horseracing and other equine pursuits, first published in 1860. Vol. I (1860) contains from numbers 1-7 and has eight plates. Vol. II (1861) contains from numbers 8-14 and has seven plates. Vol. III (1861) contains from numbers 15- 21 and seven plates. Vol. IV (1862) contains from number 22-28 and seven plates. Vol. V (1863) contains from number 29-35 and has seven plates.Vol. VI (1863) contains from number 36- 42 and has seven plates. Vol. VII (1864) contains from number 43-49 and has seven plates. Vol. VIII (1864) contains from number 50-56 and has seven plates. Vol. IX (1865) contains from number 57- 63 and has seven plates. Vol. X. All are bound in half calf with cloth covered boards. Externally, smart with rubbing to the spines and extremities and some light marks to the boards.
