A very scarce work, vanishingly scarce.A concise pamphlet, discussing the question of whether or not the crown can grant reviews after a sentence at the cockpit, regarding appeals in prize causes.This pamphlet was written at a time when pamphlets were incredibly popular, with both satirical and political pamphlets being read widely by the middle and upper classes.Written anonymously.Prior owner's faint ink inscription to the head of the tile page, and to the head of leaf A2.   Disbound, as issued. Internally, generally firmly bound, with the title page detaching. Pages are age-toned with some spots and tidemarks. Title page has been restored with an additional leaf to the reverse.
