Written anonymously. It is stated that the author spent years collecting rare and valuable recipes from around the world. Publisher's adverts to the pasedowns and endpapers. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Small cracks to the head and tail of the joints, resulting in a little lifting. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Front hinge is weak. Rear hinge strained but remains firm. Internally, generally firmly bound.
