Bavasi became General Manager of the Dodgers baseball organization, etc. etc. Another classmate was Fred Frick whose father was probably Ford Frick who had been a sports journalist in Colorado Springs, then New York, and who had become National League President (1935) and later Commissioner of Baseball (1951), was a friend of Babe Ruth, had helped bail teams out during the depression, was a force in breaking baseball's color barrier, helped negotiate early television contracts, etc. etc. The two youngsters' hometowns are given as Scarsdale and Bronxville, NY and they were vice-president and president of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Bavasi's hitting feats described in extra-inning loss to Indiana U. Very Good.
