Snug binding, hinges intact, no names, no writing, no bookplates, no foxing. Only appx 20% of gilt titling extant & it has darkened. Rather minor wear corners and ends, one corner just through. Blue cloth covers few smallish areas of bubbling: front cover 1 quite minor, back cover 1 not quite as minor & 1 a little larger and a little worse. Both plates called for are present (both miniature portraits in color) incl Q.E. frontis. Chapters incl My People, Frugality, Hard Side, Gentle Side, Marriage General, Marriage Concrete, Life, Government, France, Spain, etc. Good.
