NY, Critic & Guide Co. 1909. 1909. Hardcover with dust jacket. Hardback set, small octavos, appx 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches, gilt titling on maroon cloth covers, all volumes uniformly bound and Very Near Fine in the original plain paper dustjackets. Books are tight, crisp, clean, no names, no writing, top edges gilt. Plain paper dj's appear to have originally been something close to white with die-cut hole showing spine title & volume number. All 8 dj's now on the brittle side & somewhat browned, most are G+ to VG- with only rather minor flaws, but 2 are Fair to Poor with front panel loss. Near Fine/Good.
