Early 160-page section containing numerous b&w engravings (illustrated history and geography of Bible times, lands, personages). Colorful plates on glossy stock - map, decorative family pages, etc. Publisher's red spattering to edges of text block. Pagination: 40 pages of front matter including maps, chronology + 160 pages of illustrated history + 9-651 Old Testament + 1-144 Apocrypha + 653-880 New Testament.
