Harper & Row, 1962. 1962. Hardcover . Oblong Hardcover, appx 10 1/4 x 12 1/2 inches, 32 pages + illustrated endpapers, G+ to VG-. Original paper-covered boards, black cloth backstrip. Upper board colorfully illustrated. Color throughout, including illustrated title page. Story about The Great O'Neil, The Trained Seal (and fam). They returned to the sea where little Marina had a run-in with a shark. Six porpoise clowns provide a warm and wonderful (didactic) ending, however. Half the upper board's black cloth backstrip is a bit curled, but this would be a simple repair that I'd be glad to make for any prospective buyer. Corners rubbed through. Mostly minor edgewear, otherwise. Covers clean, colors bright with surface wear to both boards rather uniform, perhaps a little worse than minor. Neat Christmas, 1962 gift inscription to upper corner of FFEP, one 1/2-inch tear to fore-edge of FFEP, otherwise interior is nice (clean, with general signs of careful use). Sewn binding is intact, but has loosened slightly. Good.
