A very interesting study, richly illustrated, giving in good bl/white ills. the "complete story" of medicine in the classic paintings as (e.g.) Rembrandt, Mantegna, da Vinci etc. Apart for a small imperfection at foot of spine, (dampstain) a very good copy of the 1St. edition by this esteemed, writing surgeon from Berlin. Very Good.
