Entirely revised and enlarged edition of Ricard's classic on all knowledge regarding commerce, finance, and insurance, including International commercial laws and customs. First edition published in 1704 the work has by now [1784] grown into two hefty volumes. Mr. M who revised and updated this edition date is as yet not identified. Ricard's manual was always heavily used and good copies are quite rare. Contemporary full calf, with title- volume number piece. Spine of Vol/1 split, hinges weak. Many editions of this indispensible classic text are extensively described by Einaudi from 4735 and Kress. 412 etc.. Good.
