Printed in red and black, in 310 copies only(This is # 296) Orig. paper wrapper with title pieces at spine and upper cover. A classic text that needs no introduction ,by the most esteemed Dutch Private Press "De Zilverdistel" founded by Jean Francois van Royen, the "Aestetic" director of the National Post Service (of the Netherlands) Not a very large publisher, he produced only juwel like books. The typography of this "Fleurs" was by van Royen and the poet P.N.van Eyck. The book was printed in the "Medieval" type by Sjoerd H.de Roos. A very desirable copy of a scarce book. (Zilverdistel #5). Very Good.
