With the 18th century armorial (lion rampant on shield) bookplate of "Geo. Morgan Esq" and the 20th century autograph of Cecil Price, the 18th century scholar, on the recto of the front paste-down end-paper. Tyers (1725 - 1787) had the misfortune to have none of his various literary books reviewed, though Boswell said of him that, "He … ran about the world with a pleasant carelessness, amusing every body by his desultory conversation."
