The price new was 2s6d. bound without,and 4s. with,an Almanac - this is the full four shillings' worth,with Rider's British Merlin for 1799 bound in between the Index & the Register proper.The binding is worn on the corners & rubbed on the extremities,but hinges & joints are holding well.One of the two lightly-chased steel clasps is complete & in working order.The other has the mounts only remaining.
