Laid in is an unused, application slip. Father Coughlin is the famous, or infamous, priest who preached from The Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak, Michigan, during the years leading up to World War 2. Here he takes on Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Later he was known for his virulent anti-semitism, along with Henry Ford. The church still stands on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak. But access to the archives for anything relating to this controversial church/Detroit area figure are severely restricted, and almost impossible to achieve. ; 6 x 8 1/2; 128 pages; Cover has shelf wear, bumping, rubbing/scuffing, miscellaneous small stains, sunning. Many of the pages have shallow creases, a few are dog eared; water stain in upper part of first several leafs, near spine.. Very Good .
