Dedicated to Rear Admiral Lord Charles Beresford who in 1907 was Commander of the British Channel Fleet. Alan Macey was an obscure yet prolific and very popular light composer for the publisher Washington Herbert Broome.On another back page, Mischief Scotttische, Moonlight on the Floor and Love for an Hour Is Love for Ever were Macey Compositions.
