In my book descriptions following abbreviations apply: CONDITION M = mint, F= fine (almost new), VG = very good (solid but less than fine), G = Good (well used) & P= Poor. I attempt to describe all defects, such as Price clipped = Pr clp, Inscriptions = Insc (usually on ffep which is front free endpaper, the blank page at the beginning of the book). I always describe condition of book first & then dustwrapper ie VG /VG. If book has no dustwrapper or is a paperback copy, the second category will be blank ie VG/ . pp= number of pages
