Couchman for The Company, 1825. 8vo, 235 x 140 mm, 9¼ x 5½ inches, armorial device of clockmakers as frontispiece, pages (2), 104, interleaved with blanks throughout, bound in full old morocco, double ruled gilt border to covers and gilt lettering to upper cover, decorative gilt bands and gilt lettering to spine, all edges gilt, dark green endpapers. Both covers damp stained at lower edge showing as a slightly darker brown than the leather, a few other minor marks to covers, spine slightly rubbed at head and tail, small light stains to lower edges of endpapers, contents otherwise bright and clean, binding tight and firm. A very good copy of a scarce book. Images sent on request.
