First edition, 253 x 185 mm, 10" x 7", cloth backed buff boards, large extra colour onlay, illustrated endpapers blue on white, 64 pp. 8 pretty colour plates and other black and white illustrations. Corners slightly worn, endpapers faintly browned, name written neatly at top of half-title, a few very pale fingermarks. Near Fine in very good dustwrapper (20 mm missing head of spine, 10 mm missing at tail of spine, 20 mm chip at lower edge of front panel, several short closed edge tears, slight creasing at top corner of front panel, couple of tiny ink spots on rear panel).
