Colour frontis and 11 delightful colour plates of children, printed 1 side only, each facing a verse in a decorated bw frame. Expertly recased and restitched, rusted wire stitch holes showing, new endpapers. 5 mm chip to cloth surface at top front corner, another very small top rear corner, spine slightly worn and slightly darkened, 40 mm split at top of front hinge expertly repaired and showing slightly, few faint marks and slight scratches to boards, occasional slight fingermarks within, one 12 mm closed margin tear, repaired neatly.
