Of note in this issue is an illustrated article on a new flying machine by US inventor Hiram Maxim, known as the inventor of the first portable machine gun, among other inventions. This details the construction and failed test of the machine, being what appears to be an early overbuilt airplane. With a piece "Jade" by Edith Wharton, and a section on festivals in American colleges for women. GOOD condition. Minor spotting, staining and soiling, mostly to the front cover. Splitting, chipping, tearing and loss along the spine and hinges, with a piece also missing from the lower edge of the rear cover. Minor toning in the interior. Good .

Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
