Philadelphia, Dr. Wm. Wright, Publisher. Wraps. no date, presumed 1864. Illustrated pale yellow wraps. 24 pp. Black and white illustrations throughout. A monthly almanac issued as a promotional piece for Wright's Indian Vegetable Pills, containing many testimonials as to the use and effectiveness of the pills in treatment of everything from asthma to flatulence. With humorous illustrations/captions at the top of most months, as well as the music and lyrics to "The Picket's Last Watch," by David S. Warden, presumably a piece written about the Civil War. Wright used Native American and Greek imagery in an attempt to lend credibility to his patent medicine. GOOD condition. Small hole punch at the upper left corner. Minor soiling and general toning. Some chipping, creasing and tearing along the extremities. Good .

Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
