With illustrations, including 7 hand colored plates, two depicting birds and five depicting flowers. A bound volume of this 19th century journal, featuring poetry and fiction, as well as essays on marriage, domestic issues for women, the water cure, etc. As pagination indicates, this is haphazardly done, with contents lacking for two sections, making it difficult to date those two. The first section indicates it is January to June 1848, comprising volume 3 of this journal. POOR condition. Front cover DETACHED. Heavy scuffing, fading and edgewear, with the spine worn, chipped, creased. Foxing throughout, heavy to the first and last few pages. Minor scattered soiling and staining. 7 plates DETACHED and laid in, with their fore edges worn. Reference copy only of this work. Poor .

Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
