This includes mentions of various scheduled events, discussions on economic theory, etc. With the printing of a short speech 'The American Republic,' given by Henry George on July 4, 1877, in San Francisco. Devoted to the work of Henry George, an American economist and philosopher who expounded on a single tax theory regarding distribution of wealth. His work was influential in 19th century politics, earning him many adherents and admirers, even into the 20th century. GOOD condition. Name stamp and postage stamp on the rear cover, that of C. Le Baron Goeller. Heavy browning to the paper, which is rather brittle. Minor soiling and a large faint yellowish stain to the front page. Light edgewear. Good .

Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
