A short piece speaking out against various amusements, or pastimes, focusing primarily on the theater. This includes pointing out the licentiousness of actors and actresses and the general role theater plays in moral depravity. Also mentioned are masquerade balls and field sports-primarily horse racing and the gambling on it. GOOD condition. Heavy foxing and browning to the piece. Spine edge a bit rough. Good .

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
