Morris Schappes was an educator at the City College of New York, who was charged with perjury for his testimony regarding Communist associates at the school and in the New York educational system. A member of the Communist Party, he also served as editor of the magazine Jewish Life (or Jewish Currents). GOOD condition. Minor toning, soiling and creasing to the piece. Good .
