A short discussion of various fossil shells found in the Colorado Desert (in the California region, around the outlet of the Colorado River), discussing Owens Lake and the geography of the region as well. With assertions as to the freshwater sources for the shells, climate and age, etc. GOOD condition. Heavy chipping, tearing and loss to the wrappers along the extremities. Minor staining, soiling and moderate general browning to the wraps, with offsetting along the top portion. A few minor pen corrections to the text in the interior. Good .

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
