Johann Christoph Doederlein was a German theologian from the mid to late 1700s, known for his knowledge of various subjects, as well as his advocating of a freer theology (Wikipedia). GOOD condition, ex-theological library. Spine label, a few oval blindstamps and minor marking present in the interior. General fading and heavy scuffing to the covers. Minor soiling. Extremities rather bumped and scuffed. Previous owner's large bookplate present. Lengthy biographical note on the author in pen on the page preceding the title. Ownership signature present. Return policy:
