A detailed examination of Napoleon Bonaparte and his relationship with and interest in the United States, drawing from his writings, and explaining his plans for an empire in North America as well as how the United States influenced his wars and relations with European powers. The work also studies Napoleon's views on slavery and his consideration of polygamy as an answer to it. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading, scuffing and soiling. Area of staining/discoloration along the lower rear edge. Corners bumped and frayed. Remains of glue from a removed bookplate on the inside front cover. Text block clean and solid. Good/No Jacket.

Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
