A Russian journal of literature containing stories by Maxim Gorky, an early appearance in book form by Sholem Asch, a piece by Knut Hamsun, and one by S. Kondurushkin. Slightly ex-library, bearing several interior oval stamps from the Socialist Party of Chelsea (MA) on the inside front cover, with a small number label on the spine. FAIR condition. Several pages DETACHED and laid in the interior toward the middle of the book. Book collated and complete. Moderate scuffing, uneven fading and some soiling to the covers. A few small stains present. Extremities scuffed and bumped with some fraying to the cloth. Moderate browning to the pages. Scattered minor soiling throughout. Fair/No Jacket.
