Leipsic, Karl Baedeker. 1894. Original Wraps. Stated third edition. In stiff red wraps with marbled page edges. With 16 maps, 30 plans and a panorama. LACKING the railway map of London. All other maps and plans present. 547 pages including index. A classic travel guide, the Baedeker, refined the genre and inspired future models of travel guides, as well as becoming synonomous with the words travel guide. In GOOD condition lacking one map. Mostly minor soiling to the covers. General darkening, especially to the spine. Spine head and foot a bit frayed, with a small hole in the upper front corner of the cover. Text is solid with some sporadic pencil underlining throughout. In GOOD condition. Good.

We will ship the book upon receipt of payment.
We charge a media ship rate of $3.95 for the first book plus $1.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using the flat rate envelope through the US Post which costs $11.95. This is subject to change based on country being shipped to or size of book, so please contact to confirm rate.

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
