Quite mild edgewear to outer wrappers (only), with tail and top 3" of spine rough. A tight, bright and nice copy of this general interest magazine published weekly from 1844 to 1941, combining excerpts from American and British newspaper and magazines. Contributors include Sir Oliver Lodge ("The Books of My Youth: A Great Physicist on His Early Influences"), Helen Granville-Barker ("Clairvoyance: A Poem"), Isamu Suzuno ("The Quaint English of Japan: Schoolboy Struggles with an Alien Tongue") and others. .
