Tight and handsome of this well-known erotic tale first published in Brussels in 1883. Authorship is often attributed to Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Theophile Gautier and other, invariably French authors. Some suggest an obscure lady of Northern France, Mannoury d'Ectot, as the true author. Exceptionally bright and nice binding. .
