CUMMINS, Albert B. (1850-1926) - Signature This powerful Iowa politician and jurist served as that state's 18th governor (1902-08) and the first to ever serve three successive terms; he then served as senator from 1908 until 1926. Huge bold full signature and "Des Moines / Iowa" penned in black, heavy stock 4" X 3" card, n.p. n.y. Very good. Paper clip rust stain at upper left, faintly touching upon the "l" in "Albert"; mounting traces on verso. Still, an attractive example. Comes with a fine glossy turn-of-the-century magazine portrait of Cummins. .
