This shortstop debuted with the Chicago White Sox in 1930 and remained there until retiring in 1950; in 1964 he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Large bold signature in blue ballpoint on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p. n.y. Fine. Accompanied by a 7¼" X 10" color reproduction of Appling's Donruss "Hall of Fame Heroes" baseball card. .
