SOTHERN, Edward Hugh (1859-1933) - Signature and Inscription

Son of the American stage star Edward Askew Sothern, junior was a standard in many a Broadway romance and adventure production from the 1880s on; he married Julia Marlowe and starred with her in Shakespearian dramas. Usual sloppy "Yrs very truly / E.H. Sothern" in his normal pale fountain pen, heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p. n.y. Very good. Slightest bit of age toning. Attractive example. .
