LANG, Jeanie (?-?) - Inscribed Photograph Signed This actress and singer specialized in playing flappers in such films as "The King of Jazz" (1930), "Ballyhoo of 1930" (1930, with W.C. Fields) and "Freshman Love" (1931). IPS, 7" X 9", n.p. n.y. Very good. Mounting traces on verso. Charming sepia-tone head-and-shoulders portrait of a grinning young Lang at the height of her fame, her short curled hair the epitome of flapper fashion. Nicely inscribed in blue fountain pen at lower right: "To Ambrose / With sincerest best wishes / always / Jeanie Lang." A lovely period piece. .
