This actress and singer specialized in playing flappers in such films as "The King of Jazz" (1930), "Ballyhoo of 1930" (1930, with W.C. Fields) and "Freshman Love" (1931). IPS, 7" X 9", n.p. n.y. Very good. Mounting traces on verso. Charming sepia-tone head-and-shoulders portrait of a grinning young Lang at the height of her fame, her short curled hair the epitome of flapper fashion. Nicely inscribed in blue fountain pen at lower right: "To Ambrose / With sincerest best wishes / always / Jeanie Lang." A lovely period piece. .
