In a very good condition. ~ FIRST EDITION. Noted classicist Dr. Henriëtte Boas' copy, with her bookplate pasted onto front paste-down of first volume. The maps are particularly handsome. The largest, Palästina, measures ca. 53 x 40 cm, is printed in numerous colours and has 3 insets. The second, ca. 42 x 42, is a view of the Assyrian and Babylonian kingdoms from 800 until 700 B.C. It is printed in 5 colours. Both maps are crisp, practically unused. ST-5 .
